Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Leads Aruba for Earth Hour 2024

Taking the lead in Aruba’s participation in the global Earth Hour initiative on March 23, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort collaborated with the Space and Nature Aruba Foundation, offering a range of engaging activities for guests to partake in the annual “lights off” event.

Powering Down to Raise Awareness

Originating in 2007, Earth Hour is renowned for its symbolic “lights off” moment, symbolizing collective support for the planet. Participants across more than 190 countries and territories unite in powering down from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time, demonstrating solidarity for our shared home. This year, Bucuti & Tara’s involvement resulted in a total of 985 combined hours of staff and guest participation, emphasizing the importance of each individual’s contribution towards environmental preservation.
