Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Raises Over AWG 9,800 for Mary Joan Foundation
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort successfully raised AWG 9,875.41 for the Mary Joan Foundation, a local organization dedicated to supporting individuals battling breast cancer. The funds were collected during the resort’s annual Merry Merry Marketplace, a beloved holiday tradition that blends festive entertainment with philanthropy.
A Holiday Tradition of Giving Back
Since its launch in 2017, the Merry Merry Marketplace has become a highlight of Aruba’s holiday season, offering guests a joyful experience while supporting meaningful causes. A major attraction is the ice-skating rink, where children participated in 15-minute sessions for $3, with all proceeds benefiting a designated local charity.
This year’s recipient, the Mary Joan Foundation, provides emotional and practical support to breast cancer patients and their families through guidance, social activities, and wellness programs.
Making a Difference for Breast Cancer Patients
“We are incredibly grateful for this partnership,” said Arabelle Colina, Manager of the Mary Joan Foundation. “These funds will help us create wigs for cancer patients, providing them with comfort and confidence during a challenging time.”
Founded in 2007, the Mary Joan Foundation is committed to raising breast cancer awareness and offering critical support services to those in need.

Over the past seven years, the Merry Merry Marketplace has raised more than AWG 76,000 for various local charities, reinforcing Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba’s commitment to giving back.
