Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino Driving Change through World of Care

For fourteen years, Hyatt colleagues worldwide have dedicated the month of April to the Global Month of Care—a time to concentrate on enhancing the health and prosperity of our communities, making them better places to live, work, and socialize. In Aruba, the World of Care team is continuously active throughout the year but sees April as an opportunity to amplify the message of our commitment to people, enabling them to thrive. This year, colleagues dedicated their time and service in honor of Earth Day by engaging in environmental sustainability projects. These initiatives involved tree planting and organizing a farmer’s market to support local businesses. In total, the World of Care team has contributed 152 hours to volunteering for community nonprofits, promoting colleague healthcare, and advancing sustainability efforts. Various committees, such as Women at Hyatt, the Green Team, the DEI committee, and Men at Hyatt, play essential roles in driving these initiatives forward.
