Holiday Inn Resort Aruba Marks 55 Years of True Hospitality with Exciting Additions

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba celebrates its 55th anniversary with the addition of new gastronomic offerings and a new General Manager, infusing this longstanding icon in Aruba with renewed spirits. As the property enters its 55th year on the One Happy Island, it remains committed to its mission of providing new and returning guests alike with a quarter-mile of pristine beaches and unforgettable memories.

Continuing its tradition of innovation, the hotel recently unveiled Agave, Mexican Cuisine, its newest restaurant, much to the delight of guests and local visitors. Agave offers the rich flavors of this popular culinary tradition along with a variety of mixed drinks. The renovated Palm Lobby Bar & Café now boasts a modern open-air concept, new bite offerings, and beverage favorites. Additionally, guests can indulge in a cold treat from the new Gelato Store conveniently located at the end of the courtyard and right on the beach, perfect for cooling off after a day under the Caribbean sun.

This year, the hotel welcomes back Kevin Anderson as its General Manager. Kevin, a familiar face who started as a consultant in 2014, quickly rose through the ranks and previously served as General Manager from 2017 to 2019. After a stint in the U.S.A, he returns to lead the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba, continuing to offer the exceptional experiences and dedicated service that guests have come to expect.

Eva Ruiz, Cluster Sales & Marketing Director, expressed the hotel’s commitment to excellence, stating that the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba remains among the favorite properties for travelers in the Caribbean. She highlighted the hotel’s growth in leisure groups and wedding events segments, emphasizing their reputation for excellence. With Eleanor Roosevelt’s words, “True hospitality consists of giving the best of yourself to your guests,” in mind, Ruiz and her team strive to provide unforgettable experiences for guests. With exciting additions and new management, this one happy resort on one happy island is poised to continue uplifting guests for years to come.
