The history behind the art
The hand painted mural at AGAVE Mexican Cuisine is a tribute to the Mexican tradition. Including representative elements of the Mexican culture. Starting with the Chichén Itzá at the top; a historical landmark and declared as one of the new 7 wonders of the world embraced by the wings of El Ángel a monument that symbolizes the victory of Mexican independence. Along these landmarks we’ve included colorful Alebrijes; Mexican folk-art sculptures of fantastical creatures representing the elements water, earth, and air. The agave and the flowers represent the picturesque culture and impressionistic art by its artists such as Frida Kahlo.
