Foundation Teach Me Step by Step

“The Siñami Paso pa Paso Aruba Foundation was officially established on April 4, 2009, and our goal is to provide comprehensive guidance and multidisciplinary assistance to benefit children, youth, and adults with disabilities and their families. In the year 2022-2023, our team of professional volunteers created the first edition of the book “The Flower of Values – A Treasure for My Life”. This book is a continuation of our foundation’s motto, which is the flower of values: Justice – Perseverance – Honesty – Forgiveness – Humility – Punctuality – Sincerity – Responsibility – Loyalty – Love – Truth, and Respect. Each value is a chapter in the book. In this book, we aim to promote reading and activities for families to engage in exercises that will aid children and youth in their personal development and to contribute positively and productively to the community in the future.

The book has 156 pages containing interactive exercises focused on values. It will strengthen social-emotional skills, Psychomotor skills, Speech and Language. Exercises to improve attention, concentration, expression, comprehension, reading, writing, understanding emotions, techniques to regulate emotions, alphabets, numbers, identifying the body, the importance of family, the concept of time, children’s rights, and much more.

The second edition of the book “The Flower of Values – A Treasure for My Life” for 2024-2025 will feature some companies/organizations that will adopt a value. The book will be sold for a symbolic amount to raise funds for the continuation of our comprehensive after-school project that provides professional guidance from psychologists, speech therapists, and therapists to a vulnerable group of children and youth with mild intellectual disabilities (L.V.B) and their families.

The books will be distributed to children aged 6 to 15 in some schools, community centers. During the distribution of the book, our team of professional volunteers will give some informative and educational workshops.

We would like to thank Samenwerkende Fondsen Cariben and CEDE Aruba, the board of F.S.P.P.A, and the team of professional volunteers who made this book a reality: Dr. Eva Rusz, Psychologist / Psychotherapist, Lic.
