ATSA Board Members, Partners, and Friends Welcome 2025

As part of its long-standing tradition, the Aruba Timeshare Association (ATSA) hosted a New Year’s gathering this January. The event celebrated the achievements of 2024 while setting an optimistic tone for 2025.

A Festive Evening at Horizon Lounge

ATSA President Sulaika Kelly, Director of Operations at Playa Linda Beach Resort, welcomed attendees to the Horizon Lounge at Amsterdam Manor. Guests enjoyed a night of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and camaraderie, hosted by the gracious lounge staff.

Timeshare: A Pillar of Aruba’s Economy

Timeshare resorts are a key driver of Aruba’s tourism industry, consistently delivering high occupancy rates and exceptional guest satisfaction. According to an Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) report, as of November 2024, a total of 3,188,084 visitors stayed at timeshare resorts, accounting for 30.9% of all arrivals.

Additionally, accommodation-based arrivals grew by 6.6% in 2024 compared to 2023, reinforcing timeshare’s strong economic impact.

Commitment to Sustainable & Regenerative Tourism

Timeshare resorts fully support ATA’s multi-annual strategy, focusing on:

  • Responsible Tourism – Encouraging eco-conscious travel practices.
  • Sustainable Tourism – Prioritizing environmental protection.
  • Regenerative Tourism – Enhancing local communities and resources.

Visitors at Aruba’s timeshare resorts have a deep appreciation for their home away from home, actively supporting local conservation efforts and community well-being.

A Bright Outlook for 2025

According to President Sulaika Kelly, 2024 was a remarkably successful year, and 2025 is already showing great promise. Aruba’s timeshare resorts remain fully committed to driving economic growth while delivering their signature warmth and hospitality.
