Aruba Promotes Its MICE Tourism Offerings in Chile

From April 7 to 10, the Aruba MICE tourism carried out an intensive business agenda in Santiago, Chile, aiming to further position Aruba as a top destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE).

The Aruba delegation was led by Jeysha Rasmijn, Director of the Aruba Convention Bureau, joined by Iván Calderón, Sales & Marketing Manager for Hedy, and María José Lizama, Sales & Marketing Executive for the Aruba Tourism Authority in Chile and Peru, along with Claudia Cárcenas, Account Executive.

The team held strategic meetings and training sessions with major MICE operators in Chile, including:

  • Grenlantours

They were also joined by representatives from renowned hotel chains and tour operators such as Hilton, Marriott, Barceló, Holiday Inn, Joia Aruba by Iberostar, Palm Tours, and First Class.

Showcasing Aruba’s Incentive Travel Potential

The mission included business meetings with agencies like Travel Club and Turavion, where Aruba’s tourism services and value proposition were showcased directly to key decision-makers. These interactions emphasized Aruba’s appeal for group travel and high-value incentive programs.

Thanks to this initiative, Aruba reinforced relationships with agencies that already send groups to the island, while generating new business opportunities and projects for 2025. The delegation highlighted Aruba’s key advantages:
