Aruba and Curaçao Shine at Dutch King’s Day Event in São Paulo

Aruba and Curaçao were special guests at the King’s Day celebration hosted by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in São Paulo, held at Solar Cabl Prado. The Caribbean islands emphasized their strong cultural and tourism ties with the Netherlands and Brazil, highlighting direct flights from Brazil and long-standing relationships with Brazilian travelers.

Tourism from Brazil Sees Over 100% Growth

Carlos Barbosa, Director of the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) in Brazil, celebrated an impressive over 100% increase in Brazilian visitors to Aruba in the last quarter. He reaffirmed Aruba’s commitment to delivering high-quality tourism experiences on the “One Happy Island.”

Curaçao Targets 51,000 Brazilian Visitors by 2025

Representing Curaçao, Marcos Oliveira and influencer Lala Rebelo emphasized their goal to welcome 51,000 Brazilian tourists by 2025. The event not only honored Dutch heritage but also promoted deeper bilateral ties and cultural diversity between Brazil and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Aruba to Exhibit at ABAV-SP 2025 with Copa Airlines

Aruba will participate in the 2025 edition of ABAV-SP, held April 9–10 at Expo D. Pedro in Campinas (São Paulo). Aruba’s delegation will exhibit in a shared stand with Copa Airlines, reinforcing their strategic airline partnership that connects Brazil to Aruba via Panama.

The initiative highlights the importance of air connectivity to boosting tourist arrivals from Brazil to Aruba.

Strategic Outreach to Brazilian Travel Trade

During ABAV-SP, Aruba’s team will engage directly with travel agents and tour operators, presenting new offerings, unique selling points, and sales opportunities.
