What to Expect at the 2024 Children’s Book Festival
During the festival, over 50 schools will host these literary guests, offering children unique opportunities to engage with their favorite authors and discover the joys of reading. The library encourages all young readers to join in, with free membership available for those under 18.
Exciting Authors and Illustrators Lineup
Participating authors and illustrators include Liliana Braamskamp-Erasmus, Vanessa Paulina, and Gino Vrolijk from Aruba, along with international talents such as Tio Ali from Curaçao and Danielle Schothorst from the Netherlands. The festival will also feature special guest Misha Spanner from St. Eustatius, returning for a second year.

From November 4 to 8, 2024, this vibrant event celebrates adventurous and rebellious characters in children’s literature. The festival kicks off with a grand opening on Sunday, November 3, and continues throughout the week with storytelling sessions, author visits, and interactive presentations.
