SETAR continues to invest in the next generation by providing essential school supplies for the 2024/2025 academic year. In partnership with Fundacion Creciendo, we will distribute 300 backpacks filled with educational materials to various primary schools across Aruba. 🎒✏️📚

This initiative, now in its seventh year, underscores SETAR’s dedication to promoting education and well-being within our community. By equipping students with the necessary resources, we aim to empower them with the tools they need to have a successful school year.

Employee Highlight: Sergino Vis, Sustainability Project Engineer

Since August of last year, SETAR has had an in-house Sustainability Project Engineer, Sergino Vis. In this role, Gino is responsible for identifying opportunities to be more sustainable, implementing and leading sustainability projects at SETAR, all with the goal of making SETAR a more efficient and environmentally conscious company by using resources like energy and raw materials more efficiently.

Outside of work, Gino is an active person who enjoys mountain biking, beach tennis, and athletics. Recently, Gino has embraced the philosophy of Stoicism, which emphasizes respecting and appreciating nature and actively working to improve situations without causing harm. For example, he believes in not being overly greedy, respecting nature, conserving water, and caring for animals. As humans, we should live a life we can be proud of.
