COVID-19 INFORMATION

Two months ago, Aruba confirmed new cases starting a second wave that caused a much bigger outbreak on the Island than the first impact.

In this last month of September, the Aruban Public Health Department registered 1845 new positive COVID cases followed by 17 deaths. Up to this date, Aruba confirms a total of 4150 positive cases since the start of the pandemic.

In these last weeks, a drop in positive cases has emerged. Therefore on October 5th, the government of Aruba decreased curfew time from 12 am to 5 am, making all establishments able to stay open till 11 pm. Previously the curfew restriction was 10 pm to 5 am.

Information about traveling requirements

Do you want to travel to Aruba but are not sure what is required? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered!

Due to the Coronavirus, there are now certain requirements to travel to Aruba. You must be qualified by the Aruban Immigration Authority and have permission to board an inbound plane to Aruba. To do so, you must fill in an online application that qualifies you to board an inbound flight to Aruba. This online application is mandatory for all travelers. Upon your arrival, you will be interviewed, screened, and tested for COVID-19 to determine your ability to stay on the island. Be aware that within 72 hrs before your departure date to Aruba, you have to purchase mandatory insurance in case you test positive for COVID-19 in Aruba.
