Stichting Ambiente Nobo Opens New Senior Day Care Center

On September 5, 2024, the Ministry of Transport, Integrity, Nature, and Elderly Affairs announced additional funding to expand services at Stichting Ambiente Nobo. This new support will allow the foundation to open a new senior day care center, continuing their mission to provide elderly individuals with dignified care and assistance.

A 20-Year Legacy of Care

Founded by Sister Filotea in 2004, Stichting Ambiente Nobo has spent the last 20 years helping a vulnerable part of Aruba’s population. The foundation’s main goal is to ensure elderly individuals with intellectual disabilities can lead a dignified life. The new senior day care will expand their reach, offering essential services to even more elderly in need.

With the current capacity of 35 seniors and a waiting list of 14 people, the additional government funding is crucial for expanding the daycare services. This allows the center to accommodate more seniors who require proper care and attention.
