New Secretary of State for Kingdom Relations Visits Aruba: Strengthening Ties
The new Secretary of State for Kingdom Relations, Mr. Zsolt Szabó, visited Aruba on August 12, meeting with Prime Minister Wever-Croes and other key officials to discuss strengthening ties within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

On Monday, August 12, the new Secretary of State for Kingdom Relations and Digitalization, Mr. Zsolt Szabó, made his first official visit to Aruba in his new role.
Key Meetings with Aruban Leaders
During this significant visit, Mr. Szabó met with Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, accompanied by his delegation and key representatives from the Netherlands, including Mr. Vincent Storimans from the Representation of the Netherlands in Oranjestad (VNO) and Mr. Edson Hato from the Representation of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten (VNACS).
Strengthening Kingdom Ties
Mr. Szabó expressed his satisfaction with the visit, describing it as a pivotal first step towards further strengthening the solid relationship between Aruba and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Focus on Collaboration and Well-Being of Kingdom Partners
The visit included a comprehensive meeting with the Council of Ministers of Aruba, where Mr. Szabó was presented with the Landspakket, a key document outlining Aruba’s governance and collaborative plans within the Kingdom. Mr. Szabó also met with Governor H.E. Alfonso Boekhoudt, the President of Parliament Mr. Edgard Vrolijk, and the faction leaders in Parliament.
