New Opportunities for AZV Members in Noord
The AZV Executive Body has recently signed contracts with two new family doctors, Dr. Charl J. Kelly and Dr. Mikeeo Martis. Both doctors are located at Noord 82A, though they operate independent practices, allowing each to manage their own group of patients. This new addition provides AZV members with the opportunity to change their family doctor, especially if they are seeking new family doctors in Noord.
Dr. Charl J. Kelly’s Background and Experience
Dr. Charl J. Kelly is a native of Aruba with an impressive educational background, having attended Colegio Conrado Coronel, Colegio Arubano, and the University of Medical Sciences in Costa Rica. He completed his family medicine specialization through a collaboration between ImSan and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. With extensive experience working at Medwork N.V. Aruba and various other medical institutions, Dr. Kelly is well-prepared to assist his patients. He is fluent in Papiamento, Dutch, Spanish, and English, and is available for patient registration at 280-7523.
Dr. Mikeeo Martis Joins Noord’s Medical Community
Starting September 1, 2024, Dr. Mikeeo Martis will also be practicing at Noord 82A, sharing the same building as Dr. Kelly but running his own office. Dr. Martis, also Aruban, pursued his medical studies at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where he specialized in family medicine. His credentials include the ECFMG certification, allowing him to practice medicine both in Europe and the United States.
Dr. Martis brings a wide range of expertise, including geriatrics, palliative care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. He is fluent in Papiamento, Dutch, and English, and can be contacted for patient registration at 280-6146.
