Black Friday In Aruba
It is believed that the meaning of “Black Friday” is because accountants use black to signify profits and red to indicate a loss. For many, this is a day where much profit is made and therefore the term “Black” is used.Even in a pandemic, many stores will be offering deals. In Aruba, our shopping center in Downtown Oranjestad will be offering different great deals and super specials.
You can have a great shopping holiday here on the island while having less risk of getting infected as cases keep dropping.
Many stores will have their specials till tomorrow so enjoy this shopping holiday and stay safe.
Black Friday At JR Autocenter
JR Autocenter is a well-known retailer handling tires, auto parts, car batteries and all automotive accessories. We started this week with 90 active cases from COVID-19 registered by the Aruban Health Department. Today November 27th (Friday), there are 115 active registered cases. In this week, no deaths related to COVID-19 were confirmed.
A CODE BLUE agreement for entertainment has been implemented by the island’s crisis team. Entertainment in establishments is allowed as long as the place is complying with the CODE BLUE protocols. A maximum of five musicians are allowed for entertainment but dancing is not allowed.
We recommend using common sense during the upcoming holidays and to comply with COVID-19 measures. Click here to find more information about the COVID-19 in Aruba.
