Since its establishment, the Aruba Police Force (KPA) has undergone significant transformations, including changes in legislation, management, equipment, uniforms, and crime-fighting strategies. Despite the challenges associated with these changes, they have been essential for enhancing the force’s resilience and effectiveness.

Currently, the KPA consists of 523 employees, with 146 joining since 2014. This means that 30% of the force has ten years or less of experience. With upcoming recruitments and retirements in 2024, this percentage is expected to increase to up to 50%.
