COVID-19 INFORMATION
We started this week with 175 active cases from COVID-19 registered by the Aruban Health Department. Today October 30th (Friday), there are 158 active registered cases. This week only one death related to COVID-19 was registered.
As many of us already know, this Saturday, October 31st, is Halloween. Due to the decrease of COVID-19 cases in Aruba, many people will still be able to celebrate this holiday. Different restaurants and malls will have Halloween activities on Saturday. The government’s taskforce crisis team will be doing extra controls this weekend to make sure establishments are complying with the COVID-19 measures.
Closing time for establishments at 11 pm remains the same, and the prohibition of being on beach areas and public parking lots from 12 midnight to 5 am is still being applied.
