Aruba’s Night of Appreciation on London’s Canals

Aruba set sail in London, embracing Dutch heritage on a serene winter evening. Joanna Walding from ATA-UK and Tirso Tromp, Europe’s Area Director, joined representatives from Divi Resorts, Manchebo Beach Resort, Bucuti and Tara Beach Resorts, The Courtyard by Marriott, and De Palm Tours to host an Aruba Appreciation Dinner aboard the Prince Regent canal boat. The evening commenced with a champagne reception, welcoming both longstanding and new partners before the boat embarked at 7 pm.

Navigating through Paddington canal basin, Little Venice, and the captivating Maida Hill Tunnel, the boat journeyed past London Zoo, Regents Park, and Camden lock—a truly breathtaking and unforgettable route. The dinner featured a delightful three-course fish menu followed by a lavish dessert, fostering a relaxed atmosphere for gratitude towards partners and reigniting enthusiasm for 2024.

With 24 guests aboard, including representatives from British Airways, BA Holidays, Tropical Sky, Trailfinders, TUI, Hays Travel, Caribtours, Major Travel, and Turquoise Holidays, the evening was a blend of appreciation and partnership, set against London’s iconic canal backdrop.
