Report Gift Suite Summer 2023

Sales Executive Aaliyah Windster and Marketing Intern Lisiana Kock participated as an exhibitor at the Gift Suite Summer edition at Mondi Restaurant in South Amsterdam. The location had a Caribbean twist and summerful colors. Friends of the Brands hosted  this event to unite Premium Brands with creators /TikTokkers. The dress code was ‘Colorful Summer.’

In our strategy to have more affluent travelers visit the island, ATA representatives shared about the most beautiful beaches, gastronomical experiences, and cultural vibes in San Nicolas supported by The Aruba Effect, with more than 60 female creators ranging from Instagram, TikTok, and or Youtube. All are authentic with their unique followers in their niche. All in all, the creators sum up a total reach of almost 9million followers online.

They welcomed the creators at the experience deck, where they could donate to the Stichting Kinderen van de Voedselbank. They continued to the area where they could roam to connect with the brands. The colorful Aruba Ariba Carnival Edition by Spirited Union Rum Co. sparked joy! We made Aruba Ariba Jell-o shots to spark some laughs early in the morning since the Jell-o shot included blue gelatine infused with rum, a sweet peachy gummy floating, and a colorful bear, creating an illusion of a floating vacationer.

We conversated with different creators who shared their enthusiasm for working with a destination Aruba; we captured this in a form to continue the potential partnership in the upcoming year with creators we see value in to continue promoting destination Aruba as a premium luxury experience.

Louisiana: “As a marketing intern, being part of this influencer event was an invaluable learning experience. It highlighted the power of collaboration, storytelling, and the influence of social media. It was an honor to be part of such an extraordinary event, and I will cherish the memories and valuable lessons I gained from this experience”.
