MICE Actions Brazil

During a productive business week, the Aruba Team and ATA Brazil visited Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, engaging in various sales activities. These included presentations on the latest updates from the island and meetings with top TO’s and incentive planners, such as Top Service, Copastur, ARBO Group, and Be Fly, a merger between Flytour and Queensberry, two large agencies with a strong focus on MICE. Alongside the sales blitz, the Aruba Team also participated in WTM Latin America in Sao Paulo, a crucial B2B event that promotes Latin America to the world.

The Aruba team hosted two networking events, with 21 carefully selected MICE planners at each event. The cocktail events were held at Bar Julieta de Serpa in Rio de Janeiro and SKY rooftop in Sao Paulo. Attendees had the opportunity to experience Aruba through a Virtual Reality headset, which took them on a journey to see the island’s best attributes and MICE events. The event also featured an awards ceremony to recognize our top producers in 2022. Aruba partners present at the event included Darysse Croes from Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, Diego Garcia from Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, Bjorn Vrolijk from Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba, a representative from Barcelo Aruba, Angelo Tromp from De Palm Tours, and Jonathan Geerman from ECO DMS.
