Belgian Travel Blogger Awards 2023
Sharmin de Vries, PR Manager for the Netherlands and Belgium, and Aaliyah Windster, Sales Executive for Europe, participated in the Belgian Travel Blogger Awards 2023, the largest influencer event for the Belgian market held in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
The event was organized by Thx.agency, a travel marketing/ PR agency that A.T.A. has collaborated with. The event included a presentation with many insights on influencer marketing. A.T.A. speed dated with around 30 travel influencers/ bloggers focusing on niches such as nature/ outdoor travel, family travel, and lifestyle. After the session, A.T.A. had the opportunity to network with attendees before the formal awards ceremony.
The ceremony honored bloggers with awards in various categories such as best storytelling and best video. A.T.A. sponsored the best video category and presented an Aruba destination video before the award was given. Sharmin de Vries and Aaliyah Windster also took the stage to talk about Aruba. The event provided an opportunity for A.T.A. to increase their database of Belgian influencers and scout for possible collaborations.

The One Happy Partner ‘Borrel’
The A.T.A. BENELUX team hosted a fun-filled cocktail event, named ‘The one happy partner borrel’, for their esteemed partners, Aruba-style. The A.T.A. team welcomed the invited guests with warmth and led them to a unique cocktail bar, where a professional mixologist prepared the famous Aruba Ariba cocktail, leaving everyone in high spirits.
The highlight of the event was the limited edition Spirited Union Distillery Rum – Aruba Ariba, which was used to make a refreshing cocktail for the partners. Over 40 partners were in attendance, and the occasion featured a heartfelt thank-you speech from Area Director Tirso Tromp. As he raised his glass for a prosperous partnership in 2023, he expressed his gratitude for the positive start to the year and the need for a relaxing time with their best partners. The guests were treated to delicious, locally-inspired bites, and the relaxed and informal atmosphere was further enhanced by the sounds of local Aruban music in the background, creating an overall enjoyable experience.
