Immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind event during The Lobby’s presentation of French World Champion of Sweet Arts in 2022, Florence Lesage. Originally from Picardy, a northern region in France, Florence has dreamed of being a chocolatier since her childhood. After obtaining several pastry degrees, she completed her training by participating in the Olympiades des Métiers in 2014, a WorldSkills competition that allows young professionals to showcase their passion. As she continued to perfect her skills through various degrees and pastry chef positions, in April 2022, she decided to devote herself fully to preparing for the final of the International Confectionary Art Competition, which she won in October 2022, in partnership with Alexis Beaufils.
Today, crowned World Champion in Sweet Art, she has many dreams, but above all, she is passionate about passing on what she has learned. The Aruba Marriott Resort welcomes Florence Lesage with great pleasure to collaborate on an exclusive three-day event. During her visit, a fabulous afternoon tea will be available for guests to enjoy Florence’s specialty pastries paired with savory sandwiches from the Aruba Marriott chefs.
