The total passenger forecast for 2025 stands at 910,174, reflecting a projected 1.44% increase from 2024. While overall ship calls are expected to decline slightly, visitor numbers remain strong.

Tourism Credits & Economic Impact

Aruba’s economy is benefiting from increased tourism credits, previously classified as tourism receipts. In Q2 2024, tourism credits reached Afl. 1,281.5 million, a 20.7% increase compared to 2023.

For the first half of 2024, total tourism credits amounted to Afl. 2,874.7 million, representing a 19% growth. This shift in classification better reflects the economic contributions of timeshare fees and other tourism-related transactions.

Visitors spent a total of 970,549 nights in Aruba, growing 0.9% compared to 2024. The average length of stay (ALOS) varied across markets:

  • USA: 7.5 nights
  • Canada: 11.6 nights
  • Brazil: 6.1 nights
  • Argentina: 9.7 nights
  • Netherlands: 16.9 nights

Among accommodations, the “Other” category saw the most significant rise (+6.3%), while All-Inclusive and Timeshare stays slightly declined.
