The Aruba Conservation Foundation (ACF) is pleased to announce upcoming enhancements to visitor amenities at Parke Nacional Arikok. These improvements, funded by ACF, the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), and the Tourism Product Enhancement Fund (TPEF), aim to enrich the visitor experience and ensure safety across several key locations within the park.
Enhancements at Vader Piet Entrance
In late 2024, ACF initiated infrastructural upgrades at the Vader Piet entrance to improve the arrival experience for visitors. The project includes installing pavers around the control booth to reduce dust, constructing a public restroom, and refurbishing the existing building with new windows, doors, and a fresh coat of paint. Access to Vader Piet remains open during these improvements, which are expected to continue until April 2025. We kindly request that employees and visitors reduce speed when passing through this area to ensure safety during ongoing construction.

Stairs and Shelter Upgrades
ACF has also commenced improvements to the railings at Fuente. Following this, enhancements will be made to the stairs, shade shelters, and outhouse toilet at Conchi. Subsequent work will focus on upgrading the stairs at Dos Playa, Boca Prins, and Quadirkiri. These projects aim to enhance visitor safety and comfort. Access to these areas will remain open as much as possible during the upgrades. We ask that employees and visitors exercise extra caution when visiting these sites. The entire project is expected to be completed by July 2025.

Commitment to Conservation and Visitor Experience
These initiatives reflect ACF’s dedication to preserving Aruba’s natural beauty while enhancing the visitor experience at Parke Nacional Arikok. By improving infrastructure and amenities, we aim to provide a safer and more enjoyable environment for all visitors.
