Celebrating the Holidays at Boardwalk with Guests Giving Back
Boardwalk Boutique Hotel takes pride in promoting charitable initiatives year-round, with heightened guest participation during the holiday season. Through partnerships with Santas Cause Aruba Foundation and the “Pack with a Purpose” program, Boardwalk Holiday Giving Initiatives, guests are encouraged to bring meaningful holiday gifts such as school supplies, toys, and treats for local children. These donations directly support the foundation, ensuring joy and support during the holidays.
Food Bank Donations
Guests can leave unopened, non-perishable food items in the lobby donation box. These items are distributed weekly to FPNC, which assists 150-200 families monthly, and Ban Uni Man Pa Cria Nos Muchanan, a non-profit providing daily breakfasts to children from low-income families.
Supporting the Aruba Promise
Boardwalk’s team recently committed to the Aruba Promise, pledging to preserve Aruba’s environment and culture. Staff members actively engage with guests, offering personalized insights about the island while promoting sustainable tourism practices.
Donate a Crate
The “Donate a Crate” program is a guest favorite. Guests can add Baby Essentials, Hygiene Products, or Food Supplies to their bill at check-out. Boardwalk purchases and delivers these items to Fundacion pa nos comunidad (FPNC), Aruba’s food bank. In the last quarter of 2024 alone, Boardwalk has donated $1,025 to FPNC. Guests can also contribute through monetary donations.
Do Good for Aruba
Boardwalk’s “Do Good Program” encourages guests to participate in local cleanups, adoption programs, and eco-friendly practices. The Do Good Treasure Map and Web App provide tips such as visiting Arikok National Park, using reusable bottles, composting, and minimizing energy use.
