The popular cleanup campaign, Baki den Bario, is back for its final edition of the year! On Saturday, residents have a golden opportunity to properly dispose of waste and contribute to a cleaner Aruba. Moreover, this initiative encourages environmental responsibility and community collaboration. The collection containers will be placed at the Marlboro Ballpark in Dakota from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Why Participate in Baki den Bario?

Demissionary Minister Ursell Arends (Raiz) of Nature urges everyone to take advantage of this last chance to declutter homes and gardens. Furthermore, separating your waste beforehand makes disposal faster and easier. The initiative is part of the broader ‘Limpi Limpi’ campaign, aimed at promoting environmental responsibility.

In previous editions, long lines highlighted the popularity of this event. Many residents have successfully used this initiative to dispose of various types of waste responsibly. Additionally, even used frying oil can be dropped off if sealed in plastic bottles with caps. Note that asbestos materials are strictly prohibited.
