Join Free Music and Acting Workshops by CINEARUBA

CINEARUBA is currently accepting registrations for their free workshops in music and voice acting, part of the TracingRED project, an auditory production centered on slavery. This is a unique opportunity to work with renowned professionals in the fields of music, acting, and sound design.

Music Workshop for Sound Design

In the music workshop, participants will work on creating sound effects and songs for the TracingRED production. Led by Adriano Nanof, an expert in audio mixing and sound recording for film, participants will learn how to develop soundscapes, ambient sounds, dialogue recordings, and more. Adriano is also responsible for the music and scoring of CINEARUBA’s films, making this workshop an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in the music production industry.

The music workshop has already started but there are still open spots for those interested in joining this creative journey. It runs for 9 days, offering valuable hands-on experience.

Voice Acting Workshop for Aspiring Actors

The voice acting workshop, starting on September 30, will teach participants the art of vocal acting. This workshop is also led by Adriano Nanof, who will guide participants in mastering vocal performance for the auditory production. By participating, you’ll learn how to bring characters to life through voice, an essential skill in radio dramas and audio plays.

The voice acting workshop will last 18 days, running from 6 PM to 8 PM. Both youth and adults are welcome to join this exciting learning opportunity.

Previous Success of CINEARUBA’s Auditory Productions

This is CINEARUBA’s second auditory production. Their first, a dark comedy produced in 2018, gained critical acclaim and was nominated for a Gouden C Award by the Dutch Cultural Participation Fund. The success of their past work highlights the quality of CINEARUBA’s programs, making this a great opportunity for aspiring musicians and voice actors to learn from the best.
