Dining Expenditure Surge

Overview of Dining Expenditure Growth

Recent data from Visa and Mastercard credit cards indicate that once tourists finalize their stay and flights, their spending on dining increases significantly. This 17.9% growth in the dining sector underscores the importance of restaurants and culinary experiences in Aruba’s tourism industry.

High Value-Low Impact Model

A.T.A. emphasizes its “High Value-Low Impact” model, aiming to balance four key pillars: local residents’ quality of life, visitor experience quality, environmental protection and preservation, and economic contribution to the island. The goal is to align efforts with these pillars and manage tourism volume effectively.
