Certificates Awarded to Graduates of Aruba’s Social Formation Program (SVT)

Aruba celebrates the achievements of Social Formation Trajectory (SVT) graduates as they receive certificates for completing the program.

SVT Program: A Pathway to Better Choices and Employment

On August 21, 2024, the Minister of Justice and Social Affairs, Rocco Tjon, alongside Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, awarded certificates to a group of women who successfully completed the Social Formation Trajectory (SVT) program. The SVT program is crucial in helping young people make better life choices and preparing them for employment.

New Group Begins Training

The program’s first phase focuses on military discipline, followed by an employment phase where participants gain internships at various companies. Remarkably, over 80% of SVT graduates secure jobs after completing the program. A new group of 14 young participants began their training last Monday, while another group continues in the second phase. The program, in collaboration with Education for Employment and supporting companies, continues to provide these young individuals with valuable opportunities.

Minister Tjon expressed gratitude to the SVT team, Arumil, and all involved in making this impactful project a success. By fostering meaningful collaborations, the SVT program continues to positively shape the future of Aruba’s youth.
