Aruba International Regatta 2024 Set to Sail at Surfside Beach
The Aruba International Regatta will be hosted at Surfside Beach, featuring an opening event and happy hour on Friday, followed by two days of racing. This year’s regatta aligns with the end of the school year, allowing young sailors to join at the start of their summer break. The Regatta Village has moved to the beach in front of Neptali Henriquez Park, providing a suitable location with convenient parking.
Sailors from Curacao, Bonaire, and other islands are invited to compete in various categories, including Optimist Youth, F11 Youth, Beachcats, Sunfish, Laser, Race Class I (Yachts), Cruising Class (Yachts), Live Aboard Class (Yachts), Multihull (Yachts), and Miniature Boats.
For more details, visit the event’s social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, or the official website.
The Aruba Regatta Foundation aims to introduce more people to sailing and promote sustainable water sports experiences.
