Wind Creek Aruba Celebrates Record Success of Long Table Aruba
Wind Creek Aruba marked another milestone with its 6th Annual Long Table Aruba, a spectacular evening that raised the bar in community impact and island giving. At the heart of Oranjestad, 1,000 guests dressed in white enjoyed a lavish three-course dinner with wine, contributing to the event’s unparalleled success.
This year’s Long Table Aruba saw overwhelming support, with tickets selling out rapidly and generating $65,000 for local not-for-profit foundations based in Aruba. Since its inception in 2017, the event has raised over $335,000, solidifying its reputation as Wind Creek Aruba’s premier charitable initiative.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming support from the community and the success of this year’s Long Table Aruba,” said Mr. Paul Gielen, General Manager of Wind Creek Aruba. “The generosity and spirit of our guests were truly inspiring, and we are proud to contribute to such impactful causes.”
A highlight of this year’s event was the revamped charity selection process. Ten carefully chosen charities presented compelling videos showcasing their missions and impact. Community members played a crucial role in deciding the beneficiaries through an online voting process.

General Manager Paul Gielen, along with VIP tribe members of the Poarch Creek Indians, announced the winners of the contest:
- Club Kibrahacha received $15,000 to support their daytime activities for seniors.
- Stichting Hunto Inloophuis was awarded $10,000 to aid individuals struggling with mental illness and addiction.
- Fundashon Hospice Atardi received $10,000 for providing compassionate care to the terminally ill and their families.
- Sonrisa was granted $10,000 to support transportation needs for children and adults with limitations attending activities at the Sonrisa Center.
- Fundashon Contra Violencia Relacional (FCVR) was also awarded $10,000 to support their efforts in advocating against relational violence and supporting families in crisis.
The success of Long Table Aruba not only showcases Wind Creek Aruba’s commitment to philanthropy but also highlights the community’s dedication to making a positive impact on the island.
