Eagle Beach – At a recent gathering of the Aruba Timeshare Association (ATSA), outgoing president Luigi Heredia of Costa Linda Beach Resort introduced Sulaika Kelly from Playa Linda Beach Resort as his successor.

The quarterly business meeting, held at La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino, saw Minister Arends and Anthony Rojer as special guests alongside ATSA members. Established on September 29, 1994, ATSA aims to provide education, information, and support to enhance the timeshare industry in Aruba.

During his tenure of nearly six years, President Luigi Heredia championed the industry’s reputation and navigated challenges including the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring stability and safety for members and guests.

In passing the baton to Kelly, Heredia expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead ATSA and pledged continued support as a board member. Kelly, the first woman to hold the presidency, outlined her vision focused on continuity, advocacy, collaboration, community engagement, education, sustainability, and research.

“I am honored to assume the role of ATSA President,” said Kelly, emphasizing her commitment to advancing the industry’s growth and sustainability. Her leadership marks a new chapter for ATSA, poised to foster collaboration and drive positive change within the timeshare sector and beyond.

The ATSA board, comprising Kelly, Heredia, Jessica Franken (Secretary), Jurgen van Schaijk (Treasurer), and Pedro Vargas (board member), looks forward to a future guided by Kelly’s vision and the collective effort of its members.

At the meeting, Heredia received a token of appreciation for his dedicated service to ATSA and the timeshare community.
