Radisson Blu Aruba Celebrates International Day of Happiness

March 20th marked a special occasion globally – the International Day of Happiness. At Radisson Blu Aruba, we embraced this day wholeheartedly, dedicated to spreading joy and creating memorable experiences for both our guests and employees.

In a gesture of appreciation, we surprised our team with cupcakes adorned with cheerful smiley faces. Additionally, we crafted a heartwarming video for our hotel’s social media platforms, featuring our beloved team members sharing what brings them happiness, showcasing their diverse perspectives and contributions to our vibrant community.

With happiness as our beacon, our committed team set out to infuse every corner of our hotel with joyful energy. Upon entering, guests were met with a sea of yellow – the color of sunshine and happiness. Our staff sported vibrant yellow shirts bearing the message “Happy Vibes Only,” exuding positivity and warmth. To sweeten the experience, we treated our guests to a welcoming Prosecco and smiley face cookies, delighting their taste buds.

The highlight of our festivities was the Happiness Cocktail Hour, held against the stunning backdrop of the Aruban sunset in our garden. Amidst the festive ambiance, guests were greeted by “Bella,” an Italian 3-wheeler serving champagne and beer. Delectable bites ensured everyone’s glasses were filled and appetites satisfied. To enhance the guest experience, a photo booth was available, providing instant prints to commemorate the occasion, adding an extra touch of whimsy and fun to the celebration. And as a final indulgence, local sweets tantalized the taste buds of our guests, offering a glimpse into Aruban culture and hospitality.
