Aruba Tourism Authority Expands Reach in Latin America with Strategic Visits to Peru and Chile
Jordan Schlipken, Director of the Aruba Tourism Authority in Latin America, embarked on a strategic journey to key markets in Peru and Chile. Throughout the journey, which spanned from March 11th to 15th, Schlipken engaged in impactful meetings and activities aimed at bolstering Aruba’s presence and promoting its attractions.
In Chile, Schlipken held meetings with travel agencies, operators, and conducted insightful interviews with prominent media outlets including Revista Panorama, LADEVI, and the Pasaporte sin Destino portal. These interactions served to highlight Aruba’s main attractions and provided updates on the latest developments in the destination, thereby strengthening Aruba’s position in the Chilean market.
Meanwhile, in Peru, Schlipken executed a successful commercial agenda with various tourism operators, revealing positive growth figures compared to 2023. This signifies a promising trend for Aruba’s tourism sector in the Peruvian market.
The journey concluded on a high note with a breakfast gathering at the residence of the Embassy of the Netherlands, fostering valuable connections and partnerships to further enhance Aruba’s tourism initiatives in Latin America.
