Wind Creek Aruba Joins Empire Carnival Group in Celebrating 70th Anniversary of Aruba Carnival

Wind Creek Aruba proudly partnered with the Empire Carnival Group to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Aruba Carnival, showcasing its dedication to cultural engagement and community involvement.

Recognizing the significance of this cultural celebration, Wind Creek Aruba took proactive steps to support its employees’ participation. The company adjusted work schedules, allowing employees the flexibility to take part in various parades while maintaining their professional responsibilities. Demonstrating its commitment, Wind Creek Aruba sponsored 99 employees in the Torch Parade, 31 in the Grand Parades, and 68 in the Parade di Luz by covering a portion of their participation fees.

The company presented a vibrant Carnival Float featuring three queens from the Empire Carnival Group: Abigail Lejuez, the Carnival Queen Empire; Suzette Wernet, Sra Carnaval Empire; and Joleimar Morillo, Youth Queen Empire. Accompanied by stilt walkers, the float traversed the festivities, captivating the audience with mesmerizing performances. Stilt walkers distributed giveaways to the enthusiastic spectators, adding to the festive ambiance.

Wind Creek Aruba’s dynamic participation was recognized with the prestigious ‘Carosa Luhuso’ award for 2024, acknowledging its dedication and creativity during the celebrations.
